It takes a lot to become a competitive bodybuilder especially when trying to achieve the professional level. Many people think of the hours at the gym and drinking protein shakes; while this is a big part of it the cost involved is a sacrifice just as strenuous as the lifting heavy weights. Bodybuilding is an expensive sport, the costs include gym memberships, trainer fees, supplements, contest entry fees, posing suits, tanning, airfare/travel, hotel and GROCERIES!

I had always wanted to compete in bodybuilding but my job and schedule never allowed me to completely commit until 2013. Once I completed my first bodybuilding show and achieved 2nd place, allowing me to qualify for nationals, I was hooked. I had found a lifestyle that I absolutely loved! Seeing so many changes in your body and achieving things that I had never achieved before gave me such a sense of accomplishment. A friend once told me, nothing tastes as good as the way you feel when you step on that stage and she was exactly right!! This makes the training and dieting part so much easier because no cheat meal will ever taste as good as I feel when my body is at its peak condition! Since my first show, I have branched out competing in physique and swimwear shows. After completing my last show in Pittsburgh for woman's bodybuilding nationals, I decided to take some time off to grow and progress my body to new standards.

Any contribution helps me get one step closer to my dream of becoming an IFBB Pro.

Manda May - Kingpin Tattoos

I have been in the tattoo industry for nine years; which began with an apprenticeship in Germany. I have tattooed in Europe from Kaiserslauturn to the beaches of Miami in the United States. I am now currently working in Texas near the Military base of Fort Hood at Kingpin Tattoo Studio. 
Painting is another passion of mine. I work with Oils, liquid acrylics and Charcoal as other mediums which are posted for sale on the site. 
I have a preference for custom work in both my tattoos and paintings. I take requests and enjoy working with people who have a strong direction in the art they wish to obtain. Whether it be a small piece, a sleeve, to a canvas. The customer’s satisfaction in the finished piece is the most important thing.
